"The Life's Cunning Game" - by Lavarnya

Hey guys! Welcome back after a long time. Today I am here to present before you my second poem (if you haven't read the first one yet, you can always find it on my site)! I am writing a poem after almost 3 years and I wasn't sure whether I could still do it. So guys leave your honest reviews in the comment section! Hope you enjoy it... I really tried my best frl!!

"The Life's Cunning Game"

When my life was going on pretty good,
And the little Red was riding with her hood,
The perfect blue morning began to fade,
To openly reveal a beautiful, deceptive facade.

People who gallantly presented the guise,
People who unknowingly wrote the artifice,
I hail those actors with my heart and soul,
For they put up the world's grandest show!

By putting their trust and honesty at stake,
I always wonder what they thought they could take?
They had the guts to destroy a bond of years,
In order to quench their jealousies and fears.

My heart wanted to approve this denial,
That my closest confidants wouldn't do the betrayal.
But I wish this shocking truth had never dropped,
For this way my heart's pain could have stopped!

My heart shattered and scattered over their stage,
And my tears became their novel's another page,
But my rage to rise slowly burnt the rope,
That once was a symbol of their trust and hope.

Where there is a will, there is always a way!
With this mode on, I made all their plans sway.
The inner self that had dimmed for a while,
Shone brighter than ever to cross the great Nile!

Who thought pain could define one's inner frame,
And help one rise to finally know his true name.
When I look back in time I feel it's such a shame,
That they never got to play this life's cunning game.
The life's cunning game!

I hope I was able to present the story before you successfully. This story touched me deeply, and I wish it moved you too!
If you liked the idea and the structure and possibly enjoyed reading it, comment your views in the comment box.
